On Saturday 14, COMPASS participates in PolimiOpenLabs, one of the several activities organized by Politecnico di Milano within the STEMintheCity initiative of the City of Milan, to promote the STEM culture and address gender gaps in these fields.
COMPASS participated in the 7th Satellites End of Life Workshop, organized by CNES in Paris, France.
Every September, citizens around Europe are invited to a very special date with science at the “Researchers Night”, and the city of Milan joins the celebrations organizing its MeetMeTonight event. COMPASS participates for the first time this year by opening our own space control room for space enthusiasts, science lovers and curious citizens to visit.
The COMPASS team is taking part to the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia. Camilla Colombo, Davide Menzio, Stefan Frey, Matteo Romano, Simeng Huang and Ioannis Gkolias are attending this year’s IAC to present their works in front of the thousands of researchers from the international community that will be in Adelaide from the 25th to the 29th of September.
The COMPASS group participated in the 1st Satellite Dynamics and Space Missions summer school and the 7th International Meeting on Celestial Mechanics, that took place in San Martino al Cimino, in Viterbo, Italy.
