A journey through space at COMPASS control center in MeetMeTonight 2018

For the second year in a row COMPASS joined MeetMeTonight, Milan’s celebration of the “Researchers Night”. Hundreds of visitors of all ages stepped into our control room September 28-29, discovering about the daily services provided by satellites, the risks posed by space debris and the challenges of interplanetary travel. And if this were not enough, this year we introduced a brand-new virtual reality tour among all the manmade objects orbiting Earth.

COMPASS joins MeetMeTonight 2017

Every September, citizens around Europe are invited to a very special date with science at the “Researchers Night”, and the city of Milan joins the celebrations organizing its MeetMeTonight event. COMPASS participates for the first time this year by opening our own space control room for space enthusiasts, science lovers and curious citizens to visit.
