A new journal article led by Thibaut Maury, from the Université de Bordeaux, assesses the environmental impact of Space Debris using the Life Cycle Assessment approach. Camilla Colombo and Mirko Trisolini from the COMPASS team are coauthors of this work.

On 11 December 2018, the ASI SMPAG Working Group and Politecnico di Milano organized a seminar on “Advanced Studies on NEO Deflection Strategies”. Mathieu Petit and Lorenzo Bolsi presented their latest work within the COMPASS project on NEO deflection.
The 2018 NASA SpaceApps Challenge in Milano was a great success! A total of 171 participants worked for almost 48 straight hours to produce some outstanding projects and ideas.
