The COMPASS team attended the 8th European Conference for Aeronautics and Space Sciences to present recent developments on low-thrust geostationary station-keeping.
Narcís Miguel from the COMPASS team participated in the Conference New Trends in Celestial Mechanics (NTCM), in a special session dedicated to applied problems.
The 12th IAA Small Satellites for Earth Observation Symposium took place from 5 to 10 May in Berlin. Cristiano Contini and Camilla Colombo were awarded the second prize as best student paper with their work “Attitude and orbital dynamics fine coupling for high area-to-mass Satellites”. A great success for COMPASS team, PoliMi and DAER!

The ReDSHIFT Final Conference will take place in Florence on March 13 – 14, 2019 at the Auditorium di Santa Apollonia.

The COMPASS team is taking part to the 69th International Astronautical Congress in Bremen, Germany. Camilla Colombo, Davide Menzio, Stefan Frey and Matteo Romano are attending this year’s IAC to present their works in front of the thousands of researchers from the international community that will be in Bremen from the 1st to the 5th of October.
The 2018 AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference was held 19-23 August at the Snowbird resort, up in the mountains of Utah. COMPASS team members Ioannis Gkolias, Juan Luis Gonzalo and Narcis Miguel climbed their way to the summit to present their latest research on satellite dynamical theory, satellite disposal and collision avoidance.
