The COMPASS team member, joint PhD candidate Lincheng Li, attended the 8th European Conference for Aeronautics and Space Sciences (EUCASS), held on 1-4 July in Madrid, Spain. Hundreds of researchers coming for research centres, space agencies and academia, shared their recent developments on the field. Lincheng presented his work on low-thrust geostationary station-keeping, with the idea of designing boundary-to-boundary motions within a given longitude or latitude slot. The synergy between low-thrust control and exploitation of the natural dynamics provides the grounds for a potentially reduced operational cost.
