Eduardo is a new PhD candidate in Politecnico di Milano. During his 3 years period he will mainly work on collision avoidance manoeuvres and re-entry predictions.
The new paper by our Andrea Muciaccia and Camilla Colombo in collaboration with the SPIRE group of DAER, ASI and INAF, presents the work done in terms of observation, monitoring and reconstruction of the Cosmos 1408 fragmentation occurred on the 15th November 2021.

Francesca Scala successfully defended her PhD thesis “Multiple satellites formation flying for earth observation applications in low Earth orbit” at Politecnico di Milano, to be awarded the doctoral degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Last week, our Giacomo and Andrea attended the 3rd Aerospace PhD Days organised by AIDAA, and held in Bertinoro, presenting the work of their PhD research. The conference was an excellent opportunity to get to know, share and discuss with PhD students from other universities working in the aerospace fileds.
