SpEye mission milestone achieved!

In October, the SpEye mission successfully completed phase A by clearing the System Requirement Review (SRR) milestone. This achievement follows six months of dedicated work and a month-long review process conducted by the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI). The SpEye mission, funded by ASI under the Alcor program, is a 6U CubeSat mission designed to showcase inspection and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) capabilities in proximity operations using a nanosatellite.

TSD Space leads the project consortium, which includes D-Orbit, T4i, Planetek, Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II, and Politecnico di Milano.

Our team played a significant role in various aspects of the mission, including mission analysis, the formulation of guidance and control strategies, and addressing flight safety considerations for proximity operations.

We look forward to commencing phase B activities in the coming months!
