We are hiring! New junior researcher position at COMPASS group of DAER of Politecnico di Milano with application deadline on 17/02/2023.
The research will focus on the design of transfer trajectories in the three-body problem of the Earth-Moon system and the Sun-Earth system and the dynamics of orbits under the effects of solar radiation pressure. The first application of the methods developed within this research will be the REMEC mission for the Radiation Environment Monitor for Energetic Cosmic Rays within an ESA funded project. On the other side the effect of solar radiation pressure on Earth centred orbits will be studied, in presence of eclipses as a way of natural orbit evolution that can be engineered to obtain an orbit transfer. In this project we will collaborate with IMATI Italian National Research council.
