Another academic year came and went. Time really flies, so what better location for the annual reunion of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology than the Aero Club Como? Aero Club Como has the honour of being the oldest seaplane operation and seaplane flight school in the world, a testament of the historic relation of Italy with the aerospace field.
DAER staff, friends and students gathered at the shore of lake Como to enjoy an afternoon of music, food and conversation. The most adventurous among us event got to fly over the lake in a sea plane, getting some amazing views and feeling the thrill of flight.
Thank you all for joining the party, and special thanks to Pierluigi Di Lizia, Andrea Milanese and Laura Dalzini for their efforts organizing this beautiful event!
