The 4th Aerospace PhD Days, organized by the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIDAA), took place in Scopello from 6-9 May, 2024. This event saw active participation from PhD candidates of the COMPASS group: Mathilda Bolis, Yifan Cai, Xiaodong Lu, Francesca Ottoboni, Eduardo Maria Polli, Wiebke Retagne, and Martina Rusconi.
Each of them had the opportunity to present parts of their PhD research, showcasing their innovative work to an audience of peers and experts. The conference also provided a unique opportunity for them to engage with fellow PhD students from across Italy and around the globe. Participants exchanged ideas, discussed their research, and gained valuable insights into the operational activities of various universities working in the aerospace sector. This interaction not only broadened their academic perspectives but also fostered international collaboration and innovation in the field.
