ASI scholarship winner in COMPASS

Our Ph.D. candidate Giacomo Borelli at Politecnico di Milano has been awarded one of the scholarships from the Italian Space Agency (ASI) to participate to the 72nd International Astronautical Congress (IAC) and Space Generation Congress (SGC) in Dubai this October.

The scholarship is issued for young students presenting a research paper at the IAC 2021 related to the ASI strategic interests.

Our Giacomo Borelli will give an oral presentation at the IAC 2021 about space sustainability and active debris removal service to large constellation fleet as part of the COMPASS ERC-funded project at the 19th IAA Symposium on Space Debris (A6).  Additionally, he is participating to the SGAC Congress in Dubai within the ESA: Space Safety and Security Working Group.
