Mirko Trisolini PhD Viva

Front page of Mirko Trisolini's PhD thesis

On the 23rd of May, Mirko Trisolini had his PhD Viva at the University of Southampton, where he successfully defended his PhD thesis “Space System Design for Demise and Survival”.

After more than three years, three journal papers, six conferences, plenty of travelling, countless lines of code, hours spent debugging, and some extra time waiting for the Viva, facing the examiners was stressful yet liberating as it led to the closure of an important chapter of his career.

Mirko would like to thank his supervisors Hugh Lewis and Camilla Colombo and the University of Southampton for giving him this opportunity and supporting him during this journey. Moreover, he would like to thank the examiners Georg Herdrich and Minkwan Kim for taking the time to review his work and for giving him meaningful feedback.
