COMPASS Group, within Politecnico di Milano, participated to the opening ceremony of the exhibition ‘Looking Beyond’, in Milan on the 27th February. Resulting from the collaboration of IAF, AIDAA, ASI, Telespazio and MAECI, the exposition promotes the 75th IAC, that will be held in Milan in 2024.
Our PhD student Francesca Scala won one of the five Best Interactive Presentation Award at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress IAC22 in Paris.
Our Ph.D. candidates Alessandro Masat and Marco Nugnes have been awarded two of the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana’s (ASI) scholarship to participate at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC22) in Paris and the Space Generation Congress (SGC2022) organised by the Space Generation Advisory Council.
Our Ph.D. candidate Francesca Scala has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to attend the congress as an ESA-sponsored student for the International Space Education Board’s (ISEB) Student Program at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC22) in Paris.
The COMPASS group participated to the 72nd International Astronautical Congress this October in Dubai, UAE.
The COMPASS members participating contributed to the technical programme of the congress with several presentation on topics such as space debris, collision avoidance, asteroid ejecta dynamics, formation flying and active debris removal, and sustainability of space. The COMPASS team attended the 70th International Astronautical Congress hosted at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington, D.C., 21-25 October 2019. COMPASS members presented their latest developments in spacecraft trajectory optimisation, modelling and risk analysis for space debris, and orbital dynamics.
The COMPASS team is taking part to the 69th International Astronautical Congress in Bremen, Germany. Camilla Colombo, Davide Menzio, Stefan Frey and Matteo Romano are attending this year’s IAC to present their works in front of the thousands of researchers from the international community that will be in Bremen from the 1st to the 5th of October.
The COMPASS team is taking part to the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia. Camilla Colombo, Davide Menzio, Stefan Frey, Matteo Romano, Simeng Huang and Ioannis Gkolias are attending this year’s IAC to present their works in front of the thousands of researchers from the international community that will be in Adelaide from the 25th to the 29th of September.
