Publication of an article on advanced Monte Carlo sampling for the estimation of asteroid impact probability

The use of advanced Monte Carlo sampling methods for estimating the probability of asteroid impacts is discussed in a paper authored by Matteo Romano and Camilla Colombo from the COMPASS team and Matteo Losacco and Pierluigi Di Lizia from PoliMi.
