Mr. Jean-Sébastien Ardaens from DLR/GSOC delivered a seminar this Thursday, 19 December 2019, at PoliMi’s Department of Aerospace Science and Technology. Invited by the COMPASS project, he discussed about recent developments and on-orbit experiments on angles-only relative navigation in low Earth orbit.
Upcoming seminar on “Angles-Only Relative Navigation in Low Earth Orbit” by Mr. Jean-Sébastien Ardaens – DLR/GSOC, on 19 December 2019, 12:00, at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology.
The PhD position entitled “N-Satellite Formation-Flying for Interferometry Applications in Low Earth Orbits” is now open in the COMPASS research group. Application deadline 06/Dec/2019.
From 17 to 19 July, our Gabriella Gaias and Simeng Huang attended the 10th International Workshop on Satellite Constellations and Formation Flying, hosted at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Gabriella presented a new tool for spaceborne navigation systems based only on angular observations, and Simeng proposed an efficient strategy for the de-orbiting of large constellations.
